Langtons Contracted by Alumet for
TCCW Baltimore Project in Canary Wharf

TCCW Baltimore in Canary Wharf, London

Recently Langtons have been busy manufacturing a bespoke stillage solution for Alumet for the use on a multi-million pound project in Canary Wharf, London.

The accuracy and repeatability of these products in the manufacturing stage was absolutely critical to the project

Alumet is a fast growing design, manufacture and installation services company who required technical assistance to develop a bespoke product used for the lifting of composite cladding panels into position on their £10million Canary Wharf project.

The accuracy and repeatability of these products in the manufacturing stage was absolutely critical to the project and with 200 stillage cradles in total it was a fantastic effort from all the Langtons team to complete this order.

The unitized panels were completely made up in Alumet’s factory and then craned into the final position on site. Once the panels were installed the stillage cradles were split into two half’s to enable them to be removed from site via the lift shafts. The final building will boast a watertight façade to all 21 floors.
