Langtons recently completed the decorative fencing works for a large privately owned Care Home in Peterlee which has just been handed over to the client. This was the last phase of works for Langtons who were previously involved in the structural steel work for the building at the construction stage.

The newly built Care Home is of traditional build and replaces an existing Home which previously occupied the site.

The Home comprises of 57 Bedrooms over Two Floors and offers a full set of amenities to its occupants including a Salon, Café and two Lounge / Diners. As well as landscaped gardens and patio areas to three elevations. The decorative fencing runs alongside a large section of the home giving security to the residents without compromising the aesthetics of the building.

The project has been well received by the local community, who have been involved with the site team throughout the build via newsletters, open evenings and the sites “open door” policy.

Care Home Manager, Judith Tully, congratulated the team on the completion of the project “Thank you to all the Langtons team, the Care Home is fabulous and you have all done such a fantastic job. It was a pleasure meeting you all and thank you so much for all your hard work to ensure wo had a smooth transition”
